Opal Apples #Review

I was given a coupons for OPAL APPLES through BZZAgent to try and review. Here are my thoughts!

Product claims (via website)

  • Naturally non-browning (need I say more!!!!???)
  • They currently come from Washington state and are a cross between a Golden Delicious and a Topaz.
  • They are crispy and sweet
  • Taste the Difference, Make a Difference campaign through the Opal® is empowering members to put their dreams into action and then serve those most in need within their community. To that end we are sponsoring the Opal Apple Youth Make a Difference initiative for 2015

  • Non-GMO

My thoughts

  • They are super sweet (and not a bad thing!)
  • They do not brown like regular apples
  • I was able to use them in baking and recipes successfully (& tastefully!)
  • They do cost a bit more (at least in my area) than other types of apples but they are worth it!
