I would love for all schools to offer more recycling, less environmental contaminants through using green/natural cleaners, toxin free carpeting, mercury free lighting, and energy star appliances.
It isn't always possible with the CONSTANT budget cuts and restraints our public schools face, but with the help of this program it is making it possible one school at a time!
I encourage you to stand up for change and feel free to share the link and spread the word!
To enter your school of choice go to the link Pureology Green Schools Challenge and enter your contact information and answer 4 questions about green initiatives/goals for your school and attach 3-5 photos that will help show the areas you desire to see 'green' improvement. Although it takes more effort than a simple 'like' it is worth your time. Imagine what $75,000 could do to improve your school!!!!
