Many hair donations companies are well known but they are often not giving away the final products, which means if you donate 8 inches of hair, you know this will be going to someone in need, free of charge. We all could use a little trim, after all what's 8 inches?!? Or are you like me and love your long tresses and not quite ready to part ways? That's fine too, you can choose to donate $8 to the campaign to help with the cause as well!
So far the campaign has received over 800,000 hair donations!! WAHOO! And has donated over 42,000 wigs through the American Cancer Society wig bank!
Thank you to all who have already made a difference! I am inspired to do my part and pledge to donate $8 dollars (going to forgo 2 coffee shop stops) to make a difference for a beautiful soul having family members and friends who have fought or are fighting cancer, I feel this is such a great way to stand with them and in support of others fighting the courageous war on cancer! I hope you will also be encouraged to cut or donate!
