Tile Coasters

Teachers, mailpersons, salon stylists, neighbors, family, the list goes on and on, here is a simple craft I was inspired to try from an online friend of mine...there are a million tutorials on this, so I will keep this simple.

WHAT YOU NEED:
  1. craft paper (scrapbook paper)
  2. cheap tiles (sold everywhere, I bought some at Lowes and Home Depot and prefered Home Depot's)
  3. modge podge
  4. thick felt
  5. hot glue gun
  6. acrylic spray sealer (make sure it is made for tile/ceramic)

Cut the felt and scrapbook paper just a tad smaller than the tiles

Spread Modge Podge onto tile, then place paper in center
Do one or two coats of Modge Podge over paper

Finished modge podge'd tile

Tiles drying. Once modge podge has cured for 24 hours, take outside and spray with an acrylic sealant

Using hot glue, attach felt to bottom of tile

Wrap up with Ribbon and Voila!  I paired 2 coasters with a larger tile trivet
